Do we really expect our young people do have respect for human life when we as a society abort millions of babies year?

The politically correct answer, of course, is no; however, as child welfare professionals who have seen the compounded damages that are incurred to children who are born to children, we would have to answer with a resounding "yes!"

In a perfect world, all parents should have to pass the same kind of homestudy and parenting training that is required of parents who adopt.

Parenthood requires a certain level of stability and maturity that even the nicest of twelve and thirteen year olds simply are not capable of, no matter how much family support they may have.

Jack, disagree with lots you say, but never heard you this ridiculous? Your logic is usually quite good, but not this time. You're a Roman Catholic, capitalist? That's bi-polar?
Unlike home alone age minimums, driving, hunting license ages, signing contracts, fighting wars, buying booze etc.; the age of legally having babies is dictated by God? Isn't it?
As adults we can discourage it, shame it, make it a sin, explain the undesirability of such, etc.; but make it a crime??? By what authority do you baptize, Jack? Jack, any OB-GYN will tell you that a 16 yr. old, is physically optimum for birthing?? For that matter, that 17yr old male does a real good job initiating the process?!! ...And you want to make it "illegal", Jack??
Well intentioned, I understand; but that wasn't worth even a suggestion on your radio show.
