IT HAS TO BE SAID...
Watching Gov. Palin's refreshing, reassuring turn in the Thursday debate, and (finally) hearing her unleash on Obama's terrorist pals and outrageous slander of our troops in Iraq...Can you imagine how much better the Republicans would be doing with a ticket of Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin?
OK, who knew it would be "the economy, stupid" back in the spring, when GOP primary voters found so much to hate about the former MA Gov.? Are you honestly going to tell me that an articulate, energetic candidate with strong economic credentials, who can talk $$$ issues smoothly and conversationally, would have to give up in Michigan (where his father was governor in the '60s)??? Sure I endorsed Romney early on, this is not sour grapes, just time proving the wisdom of that pick, I think.
I've tried to see the wisdom of McCain emerging as the nominee of the Republican party in 2008, but it always looked more like an accident of other candidate's circumstances, rather than an affirmative choice. Everybody fell down except him. He didn't win, he merely endured.
No offense, alright? Great American, probably a better choice for the country in 2000, when Bush beat him.
I know I'm just ranting here...I just find it funny that some Republicans wanted to ditch the VP running mate there for a few days...guys, you're losing at the top of your ticket, not the bottom.

Jack first of all this is a comment towards you radio program and not the blog. Jack okay here goes...
Jack, is "fear and smear" all that you can come up with? Your recent comments on the radio show contradict how KTSA characterizes you on the website.
"Jack Riccardi defies easy labels and takes positions independent of political parties or ideologies."(quote from KTSAwebsite...http://www.ktsa.com/ktsastaff_riccardi.php)
Lately on your radio program there has been nothing independent about you. It is obvious what your party is and what your political ideologies are. Rather than your listeners calling themselves "Riccardi Conservatives" they should call themselves "Rove Conservatives".
Unfortunatey for you after all the "fear and smear" the top or the bottom of ticket will spew in the next 30 days they will still loose this election on the issues.
